Items Discussed:
1. Cold testing
- Viscometer to arrive late this week
- Standard to arrive today.
- Testing Idea:
- Building of matrix has begun.
- using Wash Buffer with added methanol:

- Will look at differences qualitatively, then
- collect viscometer data, then
- test on plates, then move to cold instrument.
-
- Chris P. working on SPEdil cold testing. Looks like there are minor changes in pH, depending on precipitation, but unclear if these will have any effect on assay. She will run PCR with calf thymus and various precipitated SPEdil and see if there is any change.
2. MFB Plans
- Patty has shipped MFB9 back from Caltech
- Chris P will work on preparing that for Harvard
4. Other issues:
- Will ship McLane pucks back today. Will include some of ours as samples for their machinist.
- Jim will figure out where the next numbering of pucks should begin, for the pucks still to be etched.
Julie presented her results from 2009 field work.
Bill presented his AGU poster.
